Terminals

POS that survives the rush.

Zebra TC27 Touch Computers for the gates. Existing card processing terminals for the vendors who already trained on them. Permanent retail counter terminals for the bars and concessions that stay open after the show closes. All running the same Ludo wallet, vendor settlement, and live ops dashboard. Or run your own fleet of iPhones and Androids with tap-to-pay if that fits better.

Zebra TC27

Built for pressure.

Powered by the Zebra TC27, Ludo runs on hardware designed for pressure. The TC27 series earned international design recognition for a reason: it feels like a modern smartphone, but performs like industrial equipment.

With 5G and Wi-Fi 6E, devices stay connected across dense, high-traffic environments, whether you're on cellular or venue networks.

Battery options are designed for event days. A standard battery covers a full shift, while an extended battery supports longer days and sustained peak loads, reducing swaps and keeping operations moving.

Tap to pay for all major cards

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, eftpos, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other major card networks supported by Stripe all run through the same Ludo checkout flow.

Phone-like, not fragile

The TC27 series earned iF Design Award recognition because it feels modern without pretending it is consumer hardware.

Battery for event days

Standard batteries cover a full shift. Extended batteries support longer days and sustained peak loads with fewer swaps.

It's simple: fast to use, hard to break, and built to keep going when the crowd shows up.

Certified hardware

Three device families. One platform.

Different jobs need different terminals. Ludo runs on all three so the venue doesn't have to pick the wrong tool. All hardware is passed through at exact supplier cost with zero margin. Logistics, freight, and on-site spares are covered by a single transparent deployment fee.

Zebra TC27 Touch Computer

The rugged handheld for gates, stewards, and roving operations. It feels familiar in the hand, adds 5G and Wi-Fi 6E for dense venues, and gives teams standard or extended battery options for the length of the day.

  • Gate scanning and ticket redemption
  • Apple Wallet stadium check-in
  • Stewards and roving payment ops

Existing card processor terminals

For venues with a card processor fleet already deployed, the same handheld and counter hardware fits straight into the Ludo checkout flow. Tap, chip, and swipe, with the same Ludo wallet, vendor settlement, and live ops dashboard behind every till.

  • Venues with an existing card processor fleet
  • Concession bars and retail
  • In-app POS for vendor-owned stalls

Permanent retail counter terminals

Counter, on-the-go, and full-station terminals already deployed across hundreds of thousands of small businesses. Ludo runs as a listed app and reseller on the major retail terminal platforms, so the same till that handles concessions during the show carries on after the gates close.

  • Retail counters and bars
  • Year-round venues
  • Carnival operators with existing terminal fleets

Or run your own fleet. Technically, any iPhone or Android phone with tap-to-pay can run the visitor-facing flows. Vendors who want to keep their existing fleet can. We just ask you to run our app and our integration so the wallet, settlement, and dashboard stay coherent.

Clover

One Clover system. Built for every kind of venue operation.

Clover brings payments, software, hardware, and apps into one ecosystem. Ludo adds the event wallet, ticketing, and settlement layer on top, so the same equipment can serve the show, the bar, the cafe, and the retail counter after gates close.

Payments

Easy payments and refunds

Accept cards, wallets, and counter payments year-round, with Ludo handling event wallets, ticketing, vendor splits, and close-out.

Software

Sales, stock, and service

Clover keeps the permanent business running. Ludo lights up the seasonal layer when the crowd, vendors, and temporary sites arrive.

Hardware

Equipment fit for the job

Counter terminals, customer displays, scanners, printers, kitchen screens, and handhelds. The venue chooses the right device for each surface.

Apps

Tools stocked and ready

Ludo sits alongside the wider Clover app ecosystem, so the event layer does not block the tools the venue already uses.

We are a Clover App Marketplace listed app and a Clover reseller. Your Clover hardware is yours, your Clover account is yours, and Ludo is the cashless and ticketing layer that lights up at event time and steps back when the show is over.

Operator side

Vendors paid before the show closes.

Every transaction allocates to the correct vendor ledger the moment it happens. The operator dashboard shows live status: Final, Pending, Cancelled. No spreadsheet reconciliation, no end-of-week disputes, no waiting for cheques.

Vendors see their own dashboard with live earnings. Operators see the whole site. Finance sees the audit trail. Same data, different views.

01

Built for the rush

Tap-to-pay in under a second. Vendors keep selling when 150,000 visitors hit the gates at 10am. The fleet behind the scenes scales with the day.

02

Real-time vendor ledger allocation

The till records who should be paid. Each transaction allocates to the correct vendor ledger as it happens; payout timing follows the agreed settlement rules.

Operator proofEvery transaction lands on the correct vendor ledger live.

03

Wallet, ticket, NFC, all on one screen

Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, Ludo wristbands, cards, stickers. The same till accepts all of them, with the same checkout flow for the cashier.

Frontline simplicityOne checkout flow for the credentials visitors actually carry.

04

Offline-aware operation

When coverage is patchy, supported payments and scans can keep going locally within configured limits. The terminal syncs the moment connectivity returns.

ResilienceSupported local workflows continue through patchy coverage.

05

Wifi 7 mesh for major events

For high-stakes deployments, we bring the network with us. Private 5G on-site, Wi-Fi 7 mesh, redundant backhaul. Quoted per event because the geography matters.

Deployment fitNetwork design is quoted to the actual geography.

06

Vendors keep what they trained on

Your concession crew already runs their existing till. Your gate stewards already run Zebra. Ludo plugs in as software, not rip-and-replace hardware.

AdoptionSoftware adapts to the fleet where that helps the day run.

Deployed at high-attendance shows, fairs, expos, and attractions

From Australian showgrounds to Hawaiian carnival sites, Ludo is built for temporary environments where payments, connectivity, vendors, and visitors all need to work from day one.

An absolute monster of a project. The challenge: how can Taronga continue its cashless operations whilst still allowing customers to spend in cash, and do it sustainably?
