Authorised Clover reseller
Ludo supplies, configures, and supports Clover hardware in Australia. One team handles the devices, the payment setup, and the venue rollout.
Ludo acts as an independent sales organisation of Fiserv and receives a fee for referrals. Card acceptance is provided under a merchant agreement with Fiserv.

From 1 October 2026, eftpos, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express have announced no-surcharge rules for card payments in Australia. If your venue offsets card fees at the checkout today, that lever disappears. We quote rates priced for the surcharge-free era, so the change lands in your rate card, not in your queue.

Settlement timing is part of the quote. Event cash flow lives or dies on when takings land. We put settlement timing in writing with the rate, not in the fine print after go-live.

What does Clover cost in Australia?
Your total depends on the devices, software, card trade and setup work. A software subscription alone is not the package price.
- Hardware
- Purchase price or rental, devices, printers and accessories. Confirm term, warranty, freight and any return charges.
- Software
- The Australian plan, first-device and additional-device charges, plus any kitchen or kiosk software.
- Payment processing
- The quoted rate model, card mix, transaction charges and any minimum or recurring account fees.
- Setup and training
- Menu work, installation, printer checks, staff training and any travel. Each service has a written scope.
- Optional support
- Support hours, included work, exclusions and after-hours arrangements. Menu changes and hardware faults have defined routes.
A café counter
Scope one counter device, the required software plan, receipt and kitchen printing, menu setup and staff training. List one-off costs separately from monthly charges.
A mobile trader
Scope the handheld device, software, charging, connectivity and order printing. Confirm charges during non-trading months and any event-specific setup.

What venue finance teams ask before moving card volume.
Can we surcharge to recover card costs?
Not for eftpos, Mastercard, Visa, or American Express card payments after 1 October 2026 under the networks’ announced no-surcharge rules. We quote a rate priced for that change and scope least-cost routing where it genuinely lowers the underlying cost.
How fast do takings settle?
Settlement timing is confirmed in your quote and agreement. For event operators we scope it against the trading window so cash flow works during the event, not after it.
Who sets the merchant terms?
The merchant agreement, including rates and terms, is issued by the acquirer. We quote in writing, walk you through every line before you sign, and hold the relationship with service.
Can pay-by-link handle deposits and vendor fees?
Yes. Secure links by email or SMS cover deposits, invoices, and vendor fees without a terminal, and land in the same settlement view.
