This page explains how to request deletion of your FunPass account and the personal information associated with it, what we remove, and what we are required by law to keep. It applies to the FunPass apps for the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Ekka (Royal Queensland Show).
These apps are published on the Apple App Store and Google Play by Ludo Leisure Suite Pty Ltd. The personal information collected through them is handled by Sendrato Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 98 605 555 833) as the data controller under our Privacy Policy.
How to delete your account
Option 1: In the app (fastest)
1. Open your FunPass app and sign in.
2. Tap the profile icon in the header to open your Account screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete in the confirmation dialog.
Your account is deleted straight away, you are signed out, and the action cannot be undone.
Option 2: By email
If you can no longer access the app, email gday@ludo.computer from, or quoting, the email address or mobile number you registered with, and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before we action the request. We action verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- your profile, including your name and contact identifiers (email address and mobile number);
- your saved payment cards and payment tokens;
- your saved bookmarks, favourites, and in-app preferences; and
- access to your wallet, including any remaining credit balance.
Ludo wallets are closed-loop. Credits are intended for use at the relevant event and are normally returned through the event redemption process, usually to your original payment method. If you delete your account while you still hold a credit balance, that balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered or refunded. If you may have a remaining balance, redeem it or request its return before you delete your account.
What we are required to retain
FunPass is a regulated payments service. Where the law requires it, we retain certain records even after your account is deleted, in particular:
- transaction and payment records (top-ups, purchases, and refunds); and
- identity-verification (KYC) records collected for anti-money-laundering purposes.
Under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) and related Australian law, these records are retained for 7 years, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Retained records are kept solely for legal and regulatory compliance. They are not used to re-create your account and are not used for marketing. Our full retention schedule is set out in section 11 of our Privacy Policy.
